Lindi Skin Founder and CEO, Lindy Snider to Introduce OncoCosmestics at Skincare 2006”

Lindy Snider, Founder and CEO of Lindi Skin, a company that has developed a new line of skin care products for cancer patients, will introduce oncocosmetics, the field she has pioneered to develop quality skin care products for people undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy, at Skin Care 2006, the 12th annual conference of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care, on Tuesday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m. at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL. Snider, a member of the Annual Meeting’s Faculty, will unveil the concept of oncocosmetics during her talk on "Getting the Glow Back Post Chemotherapy." Snider’s pioneering efforts in oncocosmetics are the result of her company’s efforts to develop quality products to meet the needs of millions of men and women who are experiencing skin-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The new field of oncocosmetics was initiated by Snider in 2004 when her products were first introduced to fill a much-needed niche in the healthcare industry. "Oncocosmetics provides cancer patients with products that bring a sense of wellness and control into their lives as they deal with the side effects of their treatment. In addition to the well-known conditions of hair loss and nausea from cancer treatments, we can now help patients address the lesser known skin side effects of sores, rashes, burns, flaky skin and loss of skin elasticity that result from today’s cancer treatments."
